We have ordered JVL products for the last 7 years, first via a wholesaler and more recently direct with the supplier. Everything was great until recently when we identified an issue with a product that was supplied in 2021. The issue came to light following 2 customer complaints we received due to the carpet protector supplied not laying flat and causing a health and safety issue and trip hazard. We contacted JVL and carried out our own tests to try and resolve the issue. Nothing worked and we have 720 metres of faulty product that is not fit for purpose and JVL merely offered a goodwill gesture of 20% of the value which is a total insult. We have compared this product delivered in 2021 with stock delivered previously and it is far thicker and will not lay flat even after heat and weight has been applied. Despite our best endeavours to resolve they do not take ownership for the fact that they have changed supplier or manufacturing process and supplied a faulty product not fit to be sold. Retailing is very tough at the minute and it now appears that we have to take a 2500 personal hit through no fault of our own as our last email sent 2 weeks ago asking for the matter to be escalated has been ignored
