Franklin & Morville School of Motoring

Would not recommend this driving instructor as my son has had plenty of lesson and spent a lot of money but has been doing nothing productive during his lessons. A few months ago he told us that he had to go to the hospital and couldn't work for a while and we waited for 2 months now with no updates. So we decided to go to Academy driver training and after the first lesson my son booked his test. So don't waste your time and money with this instructor.

Not sure what I can say about Alan that hasn't already been said in the comments below - he's a true professional who goes above and beyond in ensuring his students are safe, capable & considerate drivers on all kinds of roads & in all conditions. As an 'older' learner I initially dreaded the thought of driving and I took a long time to learn, but Alan showed extreme patience and commitment to getting me to a stage where I was confident enough to pass my test. A huge thanks to Alan - and also to Andrea, who was warm, friendly and efficient. Would recommend Franklin & Morville in a heartbeat.

Alan has been a brilliant instructor. He was very keen to make sure I became as good a driver as possible and gave me a wide variety of experiences on all sorts of different roads and conditions. He has a good knowledge and lots of interesting anecdotes about peoples driving and different situations on the roads. This all proved incredibly useful in learning to drive, not just to pass my test. He excels in teaching his pupils to be aware, thinking ahead and ready to use the road in a way that ensures every eventuality is covered. He supported me in many ways to build my confidence and develop my driving skills to help me pass first time. I would highly recommend him as a very good instructor who really prepares you well, not only for the test, but also for after you have passed, to ensure that driving diligently comes as a second nature. Andrea too is very helpful and supportive. She was always very accommodating and tried her best to arrange the lessons to suit my schedule as well as possible.

Such a good instructor highly recommend, has a laugh and is not too serious! Puts you at ease! Thanks to Alan and Andrea for helping me get through my test with only 3 minors!
