    Very happy with our new kitchen from CBD. We got a huge amount of advice, patience and expertise from Larry, Hollie and James which helped us to get the absolute best from our new kitchen. Steve did a brilliant job fitting the kitchen expertly. Excellent service and product. Can wholeheartedly recommend CBD kitchens.

    Selecting CBD kitchen was easy, although it took longer to finally completing my kitchen the final result was everything I wanted from my new kitchen. The CBD team especially Larry and Hollie were outstanding in their communications with me and rectifying and resolving any issues I had to get the project going. Thank you all again.

    Overall, we were very disappointed with CBD kitchens and their service. The design stage initially went very well and our designer was very accommodating to our requirements. However, things started to go wrong the very first day work was meant to start. The fitters didnt turn up due to CBD not having the paperwork ready. We received the incorrect sink design and a tower unit that was larger than what we ordered. Instead of admitting fault for the latter, they insisted it was by design without giving an explanation as to why they ordered a larger unit, at least not until months later after asking multiple times. Their solution was to cut the larger unit to the size of the one we had originally ordered. To top it off, they had also ordered a door what was not the correct size. We decided to use CBDs contractors hoping that they would be able to coordinate things better. The electricians were woeful, removing light bulbs in our other rooms and never putting them back in. They also left cables hanging and sockets loose in the kitchen, and when we confronted CBD, they suggested the kitchen was ready to use. The quality of the appliances supplied by CBD was also poor. Our extractor fan was malfunctioning upon installation and CBD told us we would have to deal with it, after their fitters threw away all the relevant paperwork. This meant having to chase them again to get the contact details and waiting to get it repaired. The sink they provided and installed had a lot of flex and was not installed properly, creating a gap between the kitchen counter top and the sink which could allow water through. CBD insisted it was not a problem and that their sink was the best quality, even when we showed them how much the sink moved. It took two months for someone to fix it properly and close the gap. The fit and finish was also not to the standard we expected given how much we spent. Doors were mismatched in size or not aligned properly, and it took us highlighting these several times for them to be resolved. While the kitchen now looks fine, it was stressful dealing with CBD and we had to be persistent for issues to be resolved, leading to delays. We were hoping to have our kitchen fully ready in anticipation of a few upcoming celebrations (birthdays, Diwali and Christmas). Their manager always kept insisting that everything was fine or by design, even when we highlighted various faults. We would not recommend CBD kitchens. Its also worth noting that they took negative reviews down as soon as we mentioned them, and they suggested that the reviews were not directed at them despite one specifically mentioning the manager being pushy, which we also observed. Update (06/09/2022): In response to CBD's reply to this review, I would like to highlight that were no outbreaks of Covid at our place during the period CBD were meant to be working on our kitchen. The only time we had to isolate was in December, after my father had returned from holiday, more than a month after all the work was meant to have completed. This didn't lead to all the delays during the refitting (September to November) but to remedial work from poor workmanship that still needed rectification. This is not a surprising comment from them given their history of making excuses. Regarding the issue with the extractor, I would like to remind CBD that the fitters threw away the relevant paperwork before we were told we would have to register the appliances separately.
