Lovely place, clearly well looked after by the 2 owners. Easy to get to all the local seaside towns from here. The train wagon was well looked after, clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Lovely place to relax and chill out, the hot tub is great too. Cheers :)

just back from a lovely stay in the shepherds hut with our poodle pack. the hut was spotless and very comfortable. it was kitted out with everything you need. We loved the garden and the way it was so secure and we didn't have to worry about the poodles safety. Doug and Heidi were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble thank you Loraine and Jonnie

Just returned home today from a fantastic 2 day break . We stayed in the train wagon , which was superbly clean, and kitted out with everything you would need for a break away. We have absolutely loved every minute. The care taken with all the little touches , chocolates, decorations, prosecco the list goes on !! It truely did make our honeyweek start the best possible way The highlight for me had to be the wood fired hot tub. Thank you Doug and Heidi for everything you did for us, we cant wait to come back . We would highly recommend a stay at this gorgeous place The new Mr and Mrs Ashworth

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our first trip away together for our anniversary at the start of April (2023) and we could not have chosen a better place for it. We stayed in the train wagon for two nights and even though the cabin is small it contains everything we needed and the main area - which composes of the kitchen and a sizable double bed - never felt cramped, however the shower did feel slightly small as the showerhead presses against the ceiling at an odd angle and was quite difficult to figure out without the added complication. Whilst we didn't use the firepit / BBQ during our stay, we found the garden area is a lovely view to wake up to every morning and the hot tub is a great feature that provides something to do in the evening and with wood provided and available to buy on site it was easy to heat up and keep running and as it is a log heated hot tub it was relatively easy to heat up exactly as we wanted it. We were gifted several of the extras which were available to have waiting for you on arrival, available upon booking, and the drinks provided and the chocolate shell were all amazing and the robes were extremely comfortable and made transitioning out of the hot tub when it's cold at night much easier. Despite all of this, we can both confidently say that one of the best parts of our stay was how kind and accommodating the owners were to our needs and any questions we had whilst we stayed in their cabin. The only issue we could find - other than the shower which I mentioned earlier - was the inconsistent internet performance within the grounds, but that's most likely a product of the location rather than a fault with staycation themselves. Overall it was a very cosy and intimate short stay, worth the price, and we'd definitely go again :)
