        What a lovely little cottage with such amazing views. The cottage its self is a lovely little place, has very thing you need and very clean. The owner Gillian was so lovely and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Very reasonable price too. Thank you for letting us stay

        Two lovely self-catering cottages on a working sheep farm in the hamlet of Thwaite at the head of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales. Both cottages sleep 4 and are well equipped, with both having en suite master bedrooms and family bathrooms. There is a hotel/coffee shop literally 20 metres from the front door. There are numerous coffee shops and pubs within easy reach and the area is ideal for those who like walking holidays. Even on a rainy day like today the scenery is spectacular. This is the view from the kitchen window of Meadow View cottage.
