What a fabulous experience and its no wonder that all previous reviews have been so positively glowing. From the minute we booked to the minute we left we were so well looked after by Suzanne and Chris who were perfect hosts. They even helped us with local catering arrangements from Keld Country Kitchens which we would highly recommend as it was lovely food and so wonderfully convenient which made for a special celebratory dinner for our sons 21st Birthday. Perfect location and once parked up we didnt use the car again for the duration of the long bank holiday weekend as everything we needed from beautiful scenic walks, with nice village pubs, to great locally produced food and drink we were able to access on foot from the front door of the fabulously equipped, cozy, house. We strongly recommend a staycation at this lovely property in Muker which caters for everything one could ask for to make the most of its fabulous location. Thanks Mark, Lesley and family.

Aug/Sept 2021: Had a fantastic week for what would have been Muker Show week. We had our own No Show instead, with Sue and Chris as our expert judges. Diane from Keld Country Kitchens catered for us each evening. The meals were delicious and the portions huge! She did a special meal for us on our final evening. Excellent value. A wonderful house to stay in with plenty to do on the doorstep. 2018: Stayed here with friends for a week. A fabulous, comfortable, well equipped house. Loved the different theme in every bedroom. The top floor open plan kitchen/dining/living space is great for entertaining and relaxing. As the house is built into a hillside there is street access and seating areas at ground and second floor levels. Muker is a perfect spot to explore the Dales and Bramble Bottom is the cherry on the cake.

We had a wonderful holiday here. Bramble Bottom is extremely well equipped with everything you need. We were lucky with the weather but there is plenty of places to put muddy boots, wet coats, etc, plus extra areas in the garage for drying wet things. The proximity to the pub and tearoom is very helpful and also there are plenty of stunning walks directly from house. The great thing if you are in a group is that you almost get a floor each for your bedroom and bathroom. Lots of good exercise going up and downstairs for toilet. Good internet access but no mobile phone signal. A small patio that is a real sun trap.

We spent a week at Bramble Bottom, our first holiday as a group since lockdown. The cottage provided everything we wanted and more. Everyone in the group of 6 felt that they had space and the cottage felt homely and well cared for. Walks around Muker were on the doorstep and the cottage is well sited for trips to Hawes, Tan Hill, waterfalls and other local villages by foot, bike and car. The stairs kept us fit during the week! The cottage owners are very quick to respond to any queries we had and kept us very well informed about changes due to the constantly changing situation with the current covid pandemic. We felt very safe that the owners were doing everything they could to keep us, the local community and themselves safe. We were able to store 7 bikes safely in a locked garage. Parking always an issue in small villages, was allowed for with spaces on the road, near the cottage. The village car park is nearby can also be used safely if more than 3 cars are used. The village pub and tea room are available for food. Make sure you try the sausage rolls! Delicious as a lunch on walks. The downsides for me was the village craft shop was closed for an annual holiday and looking in the windows it did look to stock some nice things and the holiday went too quick! A week was not long enough. Would recommend Bramble Cottage for large families or small groups.
