St Bartholomew's church

St Bartholomew's is a truly tranquil area, it's super quiet and surrounded by a lovely area which overlooks brilliant views. Indoors, it first appears quite normal, but has gorgeous carvings and character with a very unique point of view. On a sunny day, the stained glass dances as if in a discotheque around the room, making the pews come alive and light up. The walls feel comfortable and less grand, but more welcoming. We were seeing several things a day (5 or so) while on our holiday here, so this was a much appreciated interesting, yet peaceful, stop.

Interesting Church with some great carvings on tombs and column heads. Well worth a look.

A lovely church inside and outside. Worth popping in the see the stone work and stain glass windows. You get a real sense of peace here. While you are here, make sure you see the Yew tree.
