After the longest week in my life where my dad had to get an emergency brain surgery abroad we got back only to hear the timing chain on my 320d destroy one of the guides on start up luckily not killing the engine. So after spendin the whole morning on the phone trying to find a garage that's not trying to rip me of and willing to do the job this month I came across the Grease Monkey Motors garage. The guy's were very friendly, informative and jumped to work straight away. My car was recovered and the job was carried out very promptly considering the engine needed to come out (thanks BMW). I can definitely recommend them as they gave me by far the best price and got the work done ASAP while keeping me up to date. Services: Engine repair, Oil change

AVOID this garage!!!!! Absolutely shocking! Had my car for 10 weeks! Got told both my turbos were replaced and more cost me over 2000. Went back months later, had my car again for another 10 weeks! No repairs done to my car but gained a 12 scratch on front wing which he tried to tell me was already there. Have now gone to another garage for them to tell me that my turbos were not replaced! And has made an absolute mess of my car which is now going to cost me more to repair the damage that Tom has done! Service: Transmission replacement

My car was serviced for a new alternator and battery at this garage. No invoices or any papers were issued for this replacement ever. I started having problems with the battery keeping charge. Took it to another garage closer to me just to know what the problem was and was told the the alternator was second hand, not new and it was faulty therefore needing replacement. This falls in line with other people's reviews of the place claiming the parts used were not new and instead were salvaged. I doubt the good reviews to this place are actually from real people. I was at the garage a couple weeks ago because of an appointment I had with Tom to get his alternator looked at. He told me to be there at 10. He never showed up or called me. I waited for an hour until I gave up. This garage doesnt seem serious at all about its work. The owner seems more concerned about coming here and childishly commenting on other people's reviews and insult them which says a great deal about everything. Avoid this place like the plague.
