From first contact Craig was first class,polite and friendly and he explained the process/ possible issues that may arise, and again once he had examined the doors and table in person he gave a full explanation of what would happen. The turnaround for the work was less than a week and literally years of paint layers were removed by the process, leaving us with a fantastic base to do further restoration work. I wholeheartedly recommend A1. ##EDIT; have now had further doors as well as the old paint encrusted locks stripped, again first class prompt service and good price.

We used the company for our internal doors (8 doors, all around 35 years old, all with at least 3 layers of paint). Craig was so so helpful, from the initial phone call (answered all my questions, even the silly/obvious ones) to the prompt delivery and everything in between. If I had more doors they would definitely go Craig's way :).

A fantastic service. After speaking with Craig about having seven of our interior doors stripped back to a natural wood finish, he picked them up and bought them back just as he said he would. The finished and stripped doors are incredible and will make a great feature in our home. I cannot recommend highly enough.

A1 Door Stripping are brilliant. They responded to my enquiry almost instantly. Collected the doors on time and even carried them downstairs as I couldnt. Warned me that it might take a few extra days due to the weather making getting them dry difficult but in the end they were returned on time. The doors look beautiful. I was really worried that they wouldnt be salvageable but a coat of wax and they can last another 80 years. Would use them again in a heartbeat
