Well, what can I say? We visited The First Station and found Nick very helpful and informative. We chose an electric fire, the electrician came to measure up and all was well - until: we received the deposit invoice and were happy to pay. However, there was a condtion on it that the balance should be paid in full "a minimum of two days before installation". This didn't seem good practice to us: paying for goods, the fire, before it had arrived and was satisfactorily installed. So I rang up to pay the deposit and said I was unhappy about paying the balance before we had the fire. "In that case you don't get the fire" said Nick. "Well, said I, " you won't get the business". "Thank you", said Nick, and put the phone down. I thought that was rather rude, apart from not being good business practice. So that's my experience, as of October 2021. Make of it what you will.

Have just had our gorgeous solid fuel fireplace fitted from Nick at the Fire Station. We love it. Mark the fitter did an amazing job as he did fitting our last one. Thanks again Nick Excellent friendly and professional service as always.
