Martina Gavan Stained Glass Maker

Martina was excellent. I commissioned a new stained glass window for my refurbished front door. She fulfilled the brief and produced an excellent piece of work. I was able to visit her workshop on a couple of occasions and select the right types of glass. She was v professional and helpful. Now I have a lovely front door which improves the impression of the whole house.

Had a lovely day with Martina. She was very patient and supportive with a beginner like me. I had a great time and really feel like I achieved something. Martina is clearly very knowlegeable and incredibly skillful at what she does and is fabulous at breaking things down so you can practice and improve. I will definitely be going back for another go.

My partner and myself recently attended a one day stained glass course at Martina's workshop and had a wonderful experience through out. Starting as compete novices to going home with a finished colourful stained glass creation was fantastic. Martina was patient and guided us through out from choosing and cutting the glass to final leading and soldering. There was a huge variety and colour of glass to choose from. Would highly recommend this course.

Martina helped refurbish our old victorian front door with new stained glass. The door looks a million dollars. Martina was excellent, firstly helping us decide on the design, sending proofs and making and installation. The service was first class. She's also good value, so vs a new front door this was actually cheaper and retained the character.

Martina Gavan is certainly a very highly skilled stained glass specialist. We enlisted her help to clean and repair the large stained glass window in our church tower. I already knew that she was very capable but working on a large triple lancet Victorian stained glass window needs care and understanding and good conservation practice. I am extremely satisfied with the result of her restoration effort and I would recommend Martina to anyone requiring stained glass restoration and conservation. Thankyou Martina!
