I was here on a Thursday Evening for their dinner service. We were shown to our table by a friendly member of the team. We were allowed enough time to browse the slightly limited but well thought out menu ( I understand the chef doesn't want to do about 12 starters and mains). My companion asked about the wine, our team member didn't know much about it but she asked a senior member of the team and said about the wine and meat pairing. I had a trout starter with a minimal few bits of greenery. My main was the 8oz steak cooked to medium rare. Just the way I like it. It came with chunky chips that were salted and also peppercorn sauce. For afters, I had the vanilla sorbet. The presentation at this place is amazing and the staff are really attentive. Maisie and everyone else should be really proud. We booked for about a fortnight before we wanted to go there, as it was half term. This place will be really busy once the racing at Newmarket gets underway. Well worth the little trip from Newmarket. Well done all.
