My little cockapoo Martha literally jumps out of the car and runs up to WalKeys' front door begging to be let in - I can't think of a higher recommendation! Martha has a wonderful time there, playing with all the other dogs and going for walks, under the care of the experienced and very loving staff . She has been going to WalKeys since she was 3 months old as they have a dedicated puppy play area, and when she was recently in season Helen (who Martha adores!) came to our house to take her out for a supervised play. I leave Martha with them while I am at work and they drop her off at home at the end of the day, and I know she in the best of hands. All the team are absolutely brilliant, totally professional and trustworthy, and very generous with their advice to me as a new dog owner, and the dogs look as happy and healthy as it is possible to look. This is the very best doggy day care you can find!

WalKeys are a fantastic team. I use them regularly for house and pet sitting and also for ad-hoc day care when I need to leave my dogs for work purposes which has been considerable this past year. All members of the team that Helen has assembled are extremely professional and all have an innate ability with dogs. Special mention must go to Philip who is uniquely capable and to Billie for all the admin and support.

Sadly you can't give less than a 1 star as 1 star is far too much! Walkeys, owners and staff lost a dog on Friday, 11th November, 2022 from their Daycare Unit in South Stoke. The dog was narrowly missedby a car at 6.00 p.m that evening on the B4009, then the nightmare began for people out trying to catch it .... the poor dog was out in the countryside in terrible weather for six days and five nights before it was luckily caught by a member of the public. At no time did anyone from Walkeys assist with the search for the dog, in fact they made no effort in the two days before the owners came to collect the dog to even contact them, they made no social media posts and failed to reply to the many being posted by people trying to catch the dog. No lost dog notifications or staff out looking!! .... Absolutely nothing from Walkeys to assist in getting this dog safe and well back with owners. The owners were not even made aware that their dog was in fact lost/missing until the Sunday, 13th November. Sadly this has happened before with other dogs under Walkeys care and I use the word 'care' extremely loosely!!! Walkeys failed in their duty of care and welfare for this dog. Walkeys limited liability partnership.... their business name describes them to perfection... Limited liability, they have no liability for any care and welfare of dogs absolutely none!!!! Thankfully a happy outcome it could have been a completely different one .... Edit in reply to Helen Hunt 22nd November 2022 3.30pm I was privy to the situation by Rachel and the owners I was in direct contact with them helping with advice by telephone and text. The owners were distraught in the situation they found themselves in "no fault of their own" they left the dogs in Helens care and she lost Ruby and let her down as to the owners ... Now name calling "nut case" nice!! the women who put herself out with time and purchasing food to lure Ruby into traps or keeping in the area as we were concerned due to her distressed "flight" state she may run out of the area .... 1) nobody was out looking for Ruby on the Friday! she was nearly run over by the lady who did so much to get her safe she nearly got her that night but she was startled by another car. Ruby could have been picked up by anyone never to be seen again....stolen!!! Or killed on the roads Helen was waiting for her to re trace her steps back to them!!! The dog was in flight mode frightened, scared not thinking straight....in danger!!!! 2) Why did they not reply to Facebook media posts about a frightened lost dog running in the fields! Could have replied with please don't approach but let us know location's or pm original poster 3) Ruby wasn't reported missing by Helen to doglost which is part of her licence conditions... again she's lost dont approach please. The silence was deafening to us people trying to understand the situation had she been dumped, lost locally or came to South Stoke from another area .... a quick message from her would have cleared that up. 4) Why wasn't the owners made aware of the situation they were not informed for 2 days. 5) As per comment about Ruby meeting up with a dog walker ...why wasn't Helen or a staff member out with dogs trying to hook up with Ruby. 6) Facebook frenzy .... their would have been none if Helen had communicated with the people out trying get Ruby in to safe keeping .... the silence was deafening I stand by this review as a pet care provider not in South Stoke but horrified by the lack of welfare care for Ruby and her owners who are know recovering from this ordeal they were put through unnecessarily!!!
