I love walking at Spearywell. This morning I went for sunrise on a very frosty morning (-4c) and it was absolutely glorious. The paths are easy to follow, there is a map in the car park but I found komoot worked just fine. I had the dogs with me this morning, which limited the time and route I could take but even so, the birds were plenty and we saw a buck. Dog-friendliness: A great place to walk your dog, there are deer in the woods so if your dog isn't great at recall it's the sort of place they should be on a lead. There are dog poo bins next to the car park at the beginning of two of the main paths that lead to the car park, so please put your dog poo in the bins!
