Diamond Awl Leather Workshop

I attended the two day leather workshop and was very impressed by the skills, knowledge and evident enthusiasm that Jason has for this craft. The studio was great, with plenty of space, lots of interesting objects on display and a great atmosphere. Jason was a patient and personable teacher, who took the time to explain each step and only stepped in when he had to. The end result was a bag I am really proud of, and a new found love of this craft that I definitely be continuing.

I got a 1 day course as a gift. I have to say the experience is amazing. Jason the teacher/owner of the workshop is very knowledgeable about leather. He is also a great teacher. His lovely wife brought us all lunch. I made a leather notebook cover which Im very proud of. Overall a great experience. If you want to learn more he also offers longer more customised learning plans. 10 out of 10.

Jason is a good teacher. Didnt think I could make a cute leather bag in 4 days. I learnt so many skills and can now work on leather with confidence. The workshop is also located in a natural environment so you dont feel you are in training. Thanks Jason.

What a great experience. Lovely workshop in a great setting. Total novice but Jason is a great, luckily patient, teacher. Delighted with the finished bag, as was my wife when she received it for Christmas. Would recommend to anyone.
