If I would be able to give a minus rating I would! The owners attitude is disgusting, and the place is most definitely not looking as it does in pictures! We booked a 3 night stay at The Pheasant Plucker through Groupon. We drove 7 hours from Leeds for a short holiday that was a present for my mother and my son. We arrived at 6 PM at the accommodation and after waiting in front of a door for over 15 minutes we were told that there is no booking in our name and that they were fully booked. The owner was rude and after saying that I will call the police ( I was beyond frustrated and upset taking in count everything around was fully booked and we had to consider driving back home ) she went mental and demanded that we left the property. We are now driving back home as we couldnt find alternative accommodation that would be in our budget. Our little holiday was ruined by the ignorance of The Pheasant Plucker owner and staff and by their total lack of customer service. The place doesnt look at all as it does in the pictures weve seen. The childrens playground is right next to a quite busy road. So yeah, if you consider booking here, just be careful, because if something goes wrong you will not be looked after !

Hotel cancelled the hotel booking at the last minute for the Aug end long weekend. I had booked the hotel couple of months back. To confirm, I also called a month back, and was told that we were booked in. Got a email just before our travel, that our booking was cancelled. Also, the lady was too rude and not ready to explain the real reason behind cancellation. It likely that they have sold the room, at the higher price at the last minute.
