        Comfortable accommodation; very quiet and away from it all - as our hosts said, "it's seven miles to anywhere". Watching their flock of sheep wandering about, especially on the long summer evenings, was particularly restful. Look out for bats as night falls. Great food at very reasonable prices at the Farmers Arms a few miles away. Would-be walkers should beware that some of the footpaths near the farm shown on OS maps are unusable because gates/stiles are completely overgrown, but further afield there is plenty of choice and lots of sightseeing potential.
