Lauren was the exact doula I was looking for. She is super calm, fun, knowledgeable and supportive. She was supportive not only for me but also my husband who found the whole pregnancy and childbirth thing daunting. He appreciated her being part of the process a great deal. Lauren was always there to answer any questions we had, and still have! She made the birth experience so much more positive and I wouldnt not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. I will miss our daily catch ups now that I have given birth!

Lauren helped my wife & I when she was recently pregnant with our daughter. I think its fair to say that without Lauren our experience of birth would have been very different and far worse. As it was, Lauren was amazing and despite challenging circumstances made the whole experience an extremely positive one. She was so helpful, kind and caring during the birth and delivered in every way she said she would often going above and beyond. As new parents we have found that her advice prior to birth and her help during the birth has empowered us to make positive decisions and not simply accept the status quo We will forever be grateful to Lauren and would recommend her to anyone! On a personal note, as a guy in a delivery room (who is slightly afraid of hospitals) and a first time Dad, Laurens help was invaluable!

We cant thank Lauren enough for all of her help and support during our pregnancy. As first time parents we didnt know what to expect and wanted the reassurance of someone who had not only given birth themselves but had also attended and assisted multiple births. The antenatal sessions were super informative and a great opportunity to discuss any worries or concerns in a safe space. When the pregnancy took a turn for the unexpected Lauren was on hand, calm and collected as always to offer us advice and reassurance. Once our baby was born we had some difficulties with feeding and again Lauren was able to provide her support and recommend other specialist contacts who were able to help. We had a wonderful experience with Lauren as our doula. Lauren is very easy to be around and totally got me and my needs. The prenatal preparation made me feel confident in the run up to the birth. Particularly with the hospital being very busy on the day I gave birth, I was incredibly grateful that I had Laurens calm presence by my side. She is practical and non-judgmental about personal birth choices. The support in the postnatal period was more important than I realised it would be and it was so nice to have someone to reach out to in those early difficult moments! I will definitely recommend Lauren to friends.

We were lucky enough to work with Lauren and as our doula for the birth of our first baby in January 2022. My husband and I are from the US and Australia - we didnt know what to expect having our baby in the UK and didnt have much family support nearby. Laurens expertise, kindness, and humour were invaluable during the final 3 months of pregnancy, birth, and immediate post-partum period. We had planned on an unmedicated birth but when our baby made it clear she had other plans, opted for a c section. Lauren supported us every step of the way, helping us make informed decisions and feeling confident that we were doing the right thing. One key area that was really helpful for us was the support she provided to my husband - she educated him in birth partner support for an unmedicated birth and also for the c section which was invaluable and made him feel useful and know he was doing what he could to support me. We would highly recommend Lauren, and the Doula Hub to anyone looking for extra support or guidance in the birth of their baby and wouldnt hesitate to work with her again if we ever had a second baby!
