Used to be lovely green space not any more alot has been taken over by bramble and they dug out a big patch which had red ant hills , spiders and bumble bees which hide away under the sandy grass turf, when they fenced it off there was acacia trees sprouting which were never there before i think they tried to pull them out , every time you make big open space with light you will find bramble and other fast growing trees that wernt there before take over , the green woodpeckers are very rarely seen now compared to a a few years back , there is alot of gorse but if you want to keep in check nip it in the bud less work then letting it grow to such a large size and the cutting it down, gorse is good for bees and the early flower provide food for the bees hope there are garden spiders this year did'nt see any last year they have great webs that stand out in the early morning with the dew or frost covering them
