Lovely Campsite, the owners (I should have asked their names) were also lovely. The shower/ toilet block was spotless, Showers were a good temperature and the layout was good...plenty of wall hooks for clothes and towels, no hooks can be a pain ! Good level pitches. Dog friendly. We were backpacking so the little shop was a bonus. It rained during our 1 night stay so another bonus was the lounge with settees,books and games. The walk down to Woolacombe took about 20 minutes through the fields, but take care,it's steep in places. There's probably easier ways to go, but we wanted to keep off of the roads. We'll definitely return, and with good weather an evening on the site would be great !

We visited in the busy summer period and overall the experience of this campsite was very good. There is a lovely shop selling everything you might need and more. Washing up facilities as well as phone charging are good. Shower facilities are also good. We were disappointed that you could not recycle plastic and cardboard in the bins at the campsite.
