Woolacombe riding stables

My daughter and I did the beach ride this morning. It was absolutely brilliant, we are experienced riders and the ride met and exceeded expectations. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Horses appeared happy and healthy, foward going and responsive. Just a great experience from start to finish. Just a comment about some reviews where disappointed is expressed around being unable to do beach ride. Two people this morning were not permitted to come following an assessment. They took it in good grace and understood the reasons why. I think the staff absolutely made the right call, it wasn't about insurance or other things mentioned in reviews, it was about what is safe and in the best interests of customer's and horses.They'd be more remiss to let people go if they haven't got the skill set to control a horse on an open beach.

Had an amazing hack today it was 1 hr and a half lovely staff Helen the instructor was amazing super friendly and kind had boots and hats just incase you need them horses were so lovely and easy going and forward rode lovely facey he was amazing ty woolacombe for such an amazing riding experience we went all through hills and feilds saw some cows and sheep had a trot walk and canter saw all the beach was lovely scenery Im 13 been riding for 6 months and felt so comfortable dont live in woolacombe only visiting not too badly priced either would highly recommend!

I went there whilst on holiday near, very nice place, I had been riding just under a year at that point and they let me do a bit of canter whilst the others who hadnt been riding as long did some trotting

Staff were really friendly and perceptive in choosing the best horse for my ability and they were very encouraging when I said I hadn't ridden in some time. I thoroughly enjoyed our hack and cantering through fields with beautiful views of the sea. Absolutely recommend x
