After a very bad experience at woodland stoves in Rothbury (replacing their stove after five years it was supposed to last twenty) the two lovely and very efficient lads Jordan and Scott worked really hard all day installing my new stove. A very reliable small local family business, I will not have any problem with customer service here.

The brick inside the stove only lasted couple months needs renewing after 2 months, they refuse to replace it unless I pay over 100 . The seal around the door is falling away. the cement round the hearth crumbling away after a week. Won't even pop round to take a look. this stove mendip Churchill 5 cost over 3,300 RIP off never told me that guarantee was just for the metal also installed the wrong colour supposed to be silver brought a black one now contacting trading standards

Sorry to be leaving this review especially knowing how hard David and Kathleen worked to build a fantastic reputation. Whilst the fitting of the stove was good 2 years ago, the after sales service has been very lacking. We arranged in May to have the chimney swept and a fire brick replaced in September. After several emails and even calling in at the showroom a couple of times we are still waiting. Got the impression that they couldnt care less. Very disappointing We ended up sourcing a fire brick ourselves and another local firm were very helpful and fitted it with only 2 weeks wait.

We have Hancock Stoves and Flues install a multi fuel log burner for us. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish, guys were very helpful and tidy and definitely a 5service. Thank you
