        Nice new leisure centre building. The cafe area isn't very big, and seems rather chaotic as it's right next to a soft play area. For a quieter visit, try and go during school hours

        Leisure centre with large sports hall, studio and gym with good range of equipment for cardio and strength work. Cafe with soft play equipment for toddlers - good range of snacks for a sugar fix after workout. Wide range of clases on offer, my wife is a regular here. Good pool for lengths. Carpark right outside (need parking disc), and easy access to Leisure Centre. Good start point for runs through Carlisle Park and alongside River Wansbeck. Membership of many centres through Active Northumberland. New facility scheduled to open end of March 2023.
