    ***COMPANY RESPONSE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW IN IMAGE*** ***UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO COMPANY RESPONSE AT END*** July 2019: Convey With Me are not a conveyancing firm. They are a referral agent. They do no conveyancing themselves. They refer you to a third party law firm, and charge that solicitor a fee for sending business their way. They do not make this clear on their website, marketing or promotional material. It's in terms, but not stated clearly elsewhere. Even when specifically asked on the phone, they skirt around the matter. I engaged services, and was under the impression I was using them as my conveyancer. The only place they actually comment about the fee they take is at the bottom of the quote they send, a three page document, in the small print in the last paragraph. It is not mentioned in the fee breakdown on the front page of your quote. They offer an added layer of service, via an online portal to track your case. You do not need this though. They have no complaints policy/procedure, and they are not regulated by any official body. I was very annoyed that I was led to believe something that was not the case. Had I realised what their business model was from the beginning, I would not have engaged their service. I was able to find a quotes around 200-300 cheaper elsewhere. Their business model should be obvious to a consumer, and not hidden away in terms. I don't feel that they conduct business in a open, honest, and transparent manner. After posting my review, their managing director threatened me with legal action if the review was not taken down within 24 hours. I made it clear that my review contained fact and honest opinion, and as such, is not in any way libelous, and that they as a company have a right of reply to reviews if they disagree with content. UPDATE 14th June 2021: IT'S TAKEN THEM ALMOST TWO YEARS TO RESPOND. OWNER STATES THIS IS NOT A GENUINE REVIEW, AS I WAS NEVER IN TOUCH, AND NOT A CLIENT. I have ten e-mails sat in my inbox (see image) from staff Amy Rose, and MD/Owner Sonja MacGregor. I also have a call log with several calls. I may not have followed through to fully engage their unnecessary service, but I was certainly a customer, and in touch via e-mail and phone. I was never aggressive, but just dissatisfied that their business model wasn't clear, and wished to complain. They didn't have a complaints process, and aren't regulated, so you can't take complaints elsewhere. They may have addressed this since, but it's worth asking for a copy if you wish to engage them. You don't need them. They're simply a referral agent, that give you updates on progress. You can simply Google law firms that do conveyancing, and get updates directly, without a third party involvement. She states they have several thousand happy clients since trading from 2010. I only see a few reviews here. I'm not trying to damage a business. I just want customers to be aware that at the time I engaged them, it certainly wasn't clear how they operated, and explanations were hidden away in small print in terms, and not obvious in communications or their website. They may have improved this since then. It was July 2019 that I was in contact with them.
