Unreliable and unprofessional. Peter Cox agreed to provide me with a damp survey. They first demanded payment before an appointment was even made and then turned up but with only one surveyor and said that they could not survey for damp as two surveyors had to be present because the damp assessment was to be under the floor (this had been explained to the agent on the phone before they attended). So they rearranged. They did not turn up, cancelling and rearranged the appointment. They phoned and said they would be late for this third, rearranged appointment. All this time my wife had stayed at home waiting for Peter Cox to attend. They then phoned again to cancel, this third appointment! We decided to try another company! Hopefully we will be refunded the fee, but beware of this company, I would never use them! GK

Brilliant service, knew what they were talking about, highly recommended, if there is damp they'll find it, if there isn't they will not try and say there is. Can't recommend enough.

Peter Cox carried out some damp proofing work on our house and they were excellent all the way through the process. I'd contacted a few others for a quote and they were really disorganised, didn't turn up when they said they would etc, or wanted to charge us a lot just for coming out. Peter Cox were completely different, the phone staff were professional and helpful and did what they said they would. Tony who came to assess the work and carry it out was really friendly and talked us through the options. They sent us professional plans to show what work they would be doing and breaking down the cost options. I thought there would be a lot of mess and disruption but Tony and his colleague were very efficient, they obviously had a lot of experience doing these jobs quickly. The finish was tidy, they cleaned everything up, and the damp has stayed away. I would definitely recommend them.
