The quintessential English Church hall. Perfect for children's parties and looking at the small stage and it's single lighting bar, I bet their productions are a wonderful community affair. Few mod cons, but clean toilets, and a smart kitchen make this a great room for letting.

Last night we made a special trip, with relatives, to the Christmas Carol service. We expected a normal celebration of the birth of Christ, with church organ, choir and much singing of well loved carols. What there was was a load of odd, non related readings of snippets from various places of the Bible. Some very odd singing via a laptop with very low end graphics and no more than three recognized carols. The whole service was very subdued and frankly boring. Not what we expected at all in the lead up to Christmas. If this is typical of how our church conducts services now then even fewer people will turn up. A sad situation indeed.
