        I phoned for a quote to repair my laptop, and was given the impression it was free. Quote was quite high so decided to not go ahead. When I went to the shop was told it was 25 diagnostic fee as I didn't go through with the repair. This wasn't made clear when i called and dropped it off, though it is part of the paper work and there's a sign on the counter

        The guy who worked there was really nice, we had a small chat about USB-C cables, and he was surprised when I identified a firewire cable, as not many other people would recognise it. Sadly, I couldn't afford a ripoff chinese GPU to make jokes about for my YouTube channel. Really good service, the guy even admitted he didn't have the long enough cable I was hoping for and redirected me to a phone shop that did have the cable, but for a hefty 10 pounds. Overall, really good shop and outstanding workers.
