I have used IDS in Leeds before for previous worktops for various companies i have worked for and not had any problems. I got some showerwall panels from them (manufactured by them) These were delivered by them to my home, as this was 06:45 in the morning i unloaded them from the truck and took them upstairs and laid them flat on the bedroom floor in their cardboard packaging as it says to do. As i had problems with other items for the refurb of my ensuite (nothing to do with IDS) the panels stayed where they were flat on the floor in their packaging to prevent any damage to them. When we opened them to start cutting and fitting them we discovered that the big 1200mm wide was quite badly bowed and the 2 900mm ones both had slight bows in them. I rang IDS and spoke to them and was advised that we had only 48hrs to of reported any problems we had to them, as this was nearly 700 worth of stuff i wasnt happy with this so asked to speak to the manager. The manager said as this was approx 2 weeks ago when we took delivery of this it was not their problem and it should of been reported before now, i explained what had gone on and that during the delay these had been stored exactly how they said to do but left unopened to protect them from damage. I know this is what everyone would say if they stored them correctly or not but if they wouldnt sort a problem with them before they were fitted and stored how they say to then what help would they be a few yrs in if i had a problem (30yrs warranty) and to top it all off i was chargered 16 for the premium phone call.
