Brilliant bar to sit and relax. Beer choice is great. Also dominos on the table is an old fashioned experience you don't get today. Goes back over 50 years playing with my grandparents.

Bought 2 pints of Oscars Sumbeam, their own brew. It was on the turn, tasted acidic and a faint aroma of vinegar. The bar staff said that it was a new barrel today so couldn't be off!! Tried to persevere and took a few mouthfuls but took both pints back (mine and my wifes). Bar staff said that owner was not in and she wasn't allowed to exchange the beer!! Left both pints on the bar and left. Never done that before leaving 2 full pint on the bar undrunk.
