We are fortunate to live in an old house which can, unfortunately, bring its own problems so, when small beetles suddenly appear, the dreaded "Woodworm" word springs to mind. A survey by another small Pest Company quickly advised us we had "Death-watch" beetles and that it would cost many 's to sort them out. Rather a quick assessment I felt which didnt ring true - so I decided to call Abate in for a 2nd opinion. Sam came round and, after a good look, confirmed they were not "Death-watch" beetles at all! He took time to identify them correctly (something I couldnt do myself) and his diagnosis actually fitted neatly with some other evidence he didnt even know about at the time (linked to birds nests as it happens which we were already going to deal with in due course anyway). So, while Abate never needed to do any work, they (a) correctly identified the problem, (b) provided some tips for us until we can remove the offending nests after fledging has completed and, (c), clearly said no other work was needed!!! Well, you know who Ill go straight back to again should I ever have a Pest problem? Yep, Abate no hesitation! Well done to Sam and the rest of the Team! Service: General pest inspection
