Went for a pub lunch. Friendly service but food choice and quality a bit mixed. No mash potatoes, so had to have chips or chips. Meat pie overcooked and black round edges. Never heard of a restaurant with no potatoes!

Excellent food, two good real ales and a very friendly and efficient barmaid / waitress. Beautiful countryside just outside for walking. What is there not to like?
