Golden Inn Chinese Takeaway

Staff were friendly and prions generous but that is where the positives end! The crispy seaweed was so salty it was inedible, chicken balls over cooked so the chicken was dry and horrible, chop suey was bland, chicken satay skewers way too salty. We threw pretty much everything away.

The Chinese food here is the best my family has tasted in Wiltshire. The portion sizes are satisfying. We're very happy with everything we've tried so far and look forward to trying more on the menu.

You'd think a review about a Chinese takeaway would be pretty samey but having checked out its star rating and recent reviews, the Golden Inn stands out among many others in the area. The shop is a little dated but the staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for our takeaway to be served up. Prices are average. It has been awarded five stars for food safety. The food was piping hot and delicious and generous portions. The shop is a little off the beaten track but will worth the effort to visit.

We were told our food would take half an hour, but took over 45 minutes, we had to listen to them having a shouting match which got quite scary!! But when we eventually got our food it was really nice.
