        Breakdown (shredded alternator belt) recovery to Maxwells in Moretonhampstead as I had passed by their garage several times with new, to me, V70 estate and noticed loads of Volvo's outside. Always a bit scary when leaving your car at an unknown garage. This one I can throughly recommend, great communication and explanation as well as estimates of cost, including the scary possibility of a new alternator over 300 parts alone. So when I picked up the car just over 24 hours later was very pleasantly surprised that they had managed to replace one of alternator pulleys (not a straightforward job), the new belt plus an oil and filter change all for little more than 300. Very happy! They certainly know their Volvo's.
