Totally over priced rooms: tiny rooms (rooms 48 & 19), dated bathrooms, with terrible views on flat roofs and in the case of room 19 the sole window looked over a flat roof where all air conditioners are placed (making 24/7 noise). I would rather book a good B&B next time than this allegedly 4-star hotel. The village Moreton-in-marsh has a few nice historic buildings, but isnt worth spending time. All the staff however were absolutely lovely and professional.

A gorgeous sixteenth century hotel right on the high street in the heart of the village. There is plenty of parking around the back, and this does allow you to walk through the beautiful garden, and if weather permits, a drink and relax outside. There is a lovely lounge bar area with lots of historic features to admire. In fact, the whole hotel is steeped in history and has been lovingly restored to a high standard. Lots of nooks and crannies with comfy sofas whwre lovers can sit and quietly chat. Rooms are gorgeous, staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. A must-go place if you are visiting this lovely village.
