Sarah and her team did my daughter and her friends proud. Punctual, professional and the food was exceptional. She was very accommodating and worked around our event to our specifications. I personally would highly recommend Sarah and her team from Rutland Gourmet.

Sarah and the team did the most wonderful job of catering for our wedding. I had endless compliments on the food on the day, communication in the run up to the wedding was brilliant and Sarah and her a team were so friendly and helpful- they would all go out of their way to help. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them again for events in the future.

We would not recommend using Rutland Gourmet due to Sarah being very unreasonable throughout the pandemic with a wedding we booked with her. Sarah wanted to increase prices & pay fresh deposits to secure new wedding dates due to the pandemic causing our wedding to be postponed. We ended up having to take her to court as she refused to pay us our deposit back of 1200 after saying she said she would. She did eventually pay, but we had to issue court proceedings in order to get this back. This was disappointing considering she was the only supplier out of 15 to take this approach, with everyone else being accomodating due to the pandemic being outside of everyone's control.

The first time I am ever leaving a bad review and I have given Sarah over a year to rectify this. We booked for a hen party that had to be cancelled due to a national Covid Lockdown becoming more and more likely (which then in-fact happened) - we gave over 6 months notice and asked for a refund of our deposit - this was ignored and then refused even though the circumstances were out of our control (and every other supplier refunded in full). I then asked Sarah to agree a partial refund and after 5 months of chasing she agreed 50% however 1 year later we are still chasing monthly for this. Even though this booking was far enough in advanced that no food or time would have been spent we felt as she was a small business suffering in a pandemic we would try to help her. The last time we heard anything was in the summer and we still haven't received our refund - terrible communication!
