My partner and i visited this pub on a Saturday afternoon for a meal. The pub was clean and the member of staff on the bar was very friendly and efficient considering she was by herself and running food too. The chef explained there would be a wait which we didn't mind as we had picky bits, but she too was on her own and felt very sorry for both members of staff who were holding a busy pub by themselves on a Saturday afternoon. The food arrived after a short wait and it was hot and we'll presented. We indulged in desserts and this too was really satisfying. I have given 5 stars for the level of service but do feel the pub could have done with an extra member of staff on a busy Saturday. I would like to personally thank the lady behind the bar for keeping a smile on her face at all times even though she was rushed off her feet. Will definitely return soon

Nice pub, quiet for a Friday night. Not sure why they no longer sell Stella. This would stop me going back again to be honest.
