I went here based on a recommendation to obtain spectacles for my 6 year old son. At the first appointment his prescription did no change. However, he had a scratch on his current glasses so he was recommended a new pair. My son and I chose some frames but oddly the owner never mentioned the cost. We assumed these were NHS frames since this is what we have bought previously. Unfortunately, on pick-up we were given a bill for 100 for a single pair of plastic frame glasses. We were absolutely shocked! A child of this age is unlikely to be able to care for glasses this expensive and will need a new pair every few months. The owner failed to be transparent about cost and this was very disappointing, We were essentially taken advantage of. Please, if you choose to go here ask directly about cost before deciding on a pair of glasses.
