We come here every year as a family but things are starting to decline. This year, the mens toilets absolutely stink of stale pee because every single urinal plumbing joint that was leaking last year is still unresolved this year so urine constantly coats the floor from every single piece of pipework. The arcades have had all their 10p catD slots removed which all the adults were moaning about, these were always in constant adult use on previous years and a key part of adult entertainment whilst kids play. No more 3player Party Time or the nice new Batman Begins 3player they had last year, so now adults have nothing to whittle away time on despite them having big signs above the arcade doors saying "fruit machines" The arcade is also powered down at 8.40pm now. Restaurant stops selling food at 8.00pm and is ridiculously priced for what you get: 15.49 for an adult burger. A kids spaghetti bolognese had a teaspoon of bolognese if that, they really are scamming premium prices on many super-cheap dishes. It's absolutely freezing in the restaurant too: 8 degrees outside and they're not running any heating and the fire escape doors are always wide open. Sat there shivering wishing i had bought a coat to wear indoors! No heating on in main clubhouse hall either. And they seem really low on staff. It's like someone at head office has declared huge cutbacks. The caravans are all modern, well maintained and clean so credit due there, but gees, get the basics sorted at the clubhouse. Still can't believe they removed all the 10p slots just to add even more crane machines. No small arcade needs 5m walls of claw machines then more opposite them! They could even put an adults only gaming section in the clubhouse bar as they've had a seperate unused section cordoned of there since the facelift years back.

While the staff on site seemed very friendly, I have to say the site was not good at all. Outside each caravan there was no paved area, meaning cars had sunk into the grass/mud and due to the rain you were constantly walking on sludgy mud/grass. The pathway for dog walking was full of piles of poo that hadn't been cleaned up, but the poo bins were overflowing and few and far between. The parking outside the caravans all had high curbs which meant if your car is a little lower, then it's definitely getting scraped. A lot of the pathways were blocked off for building work, meaning lobger walking to get to places on site (difficult for an eldertly relative with us). The caravan was average at best. The site calls itself "dog friendly" but you can't take your dog anywhere in site. I'm afraid to say I definitely won't be returning

Where to start, we (our group ) own a hobby fendt tabbert. When we arrived there was abit of an issue about owning this German van. Apparently because of the twin wheel. However we gained entry and pulled in and there was many more twin wheels. Also the odd German van. We have come to learn that not many allow this type of van onto there sites so please check prior booking for touring. Anyways our stay was lovely, plenty for the kids. Very clean and entertainment was canny for the bairns too. The beach is quite a hike. But huge and worth the walk for the view. Yuck shop resturant and bar are all fairly priced. Staff were polite and helpful. Touring toilets and showers were immaculate. Washer dryers and sinks to wash dishes are all there too. Will be returning. Enjoyed our stay.
