Sandy Airfield

Today I completed a dream come true experience by flying in a microlight. Communication was excellent. They even advised to come a bit later in the day than originally booked, as the weather would be better. Scott (the boss) was very welcoming when I arrived. My instructor was very professional and I felt well at ease. Was in the air about an hour and it was absolutely brilliant. My instructor was so full of knowledge and talked to me all throughout the flight on aspects on the ground. First class Many many thanks to everyone

Friendly and very welcoming. Promoting affordable sport aviation through provision of experience flights and instruction for those who want to take it further, in both flexwing and 3-axis microlights. COVID update - by implementing Covid prevention measures (social distancing, sanitizing and mask wearing) the club have been able to resume Experience flights and flight training. The measures have meant that the clubhoouse facilities are not available. (Management are taking the opportunity to refurbish the clubhouse.)
