Brilliant food, very attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. Been twice for carvery now and both times have been bang on. Shall 100% be returning soon!

This is our local! However, as a former licensee I think it could be made a lot more popular. For example last years hanging baskets are still up with dead flowers in them, the outside in general does not look inviting. The pub itself on the interior lacks finesse. They do a quiz night on a Wednesday which is well attended and I believe Sunday Lunchtime is busy, I feel they need to do a bit of research around the village to find out what people would like from their village pub. I have to say the staff are lovely and very friendlt

Village pub with food on offer and good selection of beers food is a great price and eat as much as you want roast for 9.50

We went to this pub last night with our friends, Sarah behind the bar was very friendly and helpful, we ordered from the menu, 3 off us went for the pie option and my wife went for the Yorkshire pudding wrap, The food took over 1hr to arrive and when it did arrive was Luke warm , gravy was lumpy and Luke warm, very few chips which was again Luke warm, did request a few extra ones which came out hot, , the manager did offer us a few coffee, but it was a shame he didnt pop and see us directly, , The atmosphere was just what you wanted as a local pub, sadly the food was very poor on this occasion, Maybe a fresh chef is needed,
