Abbeycare Gloucester

Amazing place and care. The staff are fantastic and care for you 24/7. They go the extra Marathon let alone a mile. If anyone is looking for somewhere to send themselves or a family member/friend then I would highly recommend this establishment without a heartbeat.

I can honestly say I think Abbeycare Gloucester saved my life. The quality of everything in the rehab is first class. My room was much larger than I expected and was beautifully furnished, and staff were always happy to accommodate any needs that I had regarding my room. The food was amazing and they fully catered for my vegetarian diet; there was loads of choice for each meal and always snacks and hot and cold drinks to have whenever I wanted. There were lots of fun activities organised for us as well. Most importantly, the care and treatment program was amazing. For the staff at Abbeycare Gloucester, working there is clearly more than just their job; they really care about all the clients. A lot of the staff are in recovery as well and I found this especially valuable as they could understand and connect with us on a deeper level from personal experience. The sessions were very useful even if they were sometimes difficult and they use loads of different therapeutic techniques (art therapy, CBT therapy, group therapy, counselling). Overall I cannot recommend this treatment centre highly enough.

I knew from the moment I walked into The Hygrove (Abbeycare) I was going to experience the start of my life clean and sober. I stayed for an extended period and even extended further in order to make the best of my stay and kick start my recovery. The staff are amazing, nothing is ever too much, beautiful surroundings, wonderful programme which allowed me to finally find my voice again and to explore who I was as through addiction and mental health I had become a lost soul. In the Hygrove I developed a thirst for life again and I did that with all the help that was available. I was supported all the way throughout and felt the safest I had felt in years! I cannot recommend Abbeycare Gloucester enough. I will be eternally grateful ...

Outstanding rehab and unfortunately I have been to a few. Well structured program with caring staff. The food is excellent as well as surroundings. I wish you much success. Unbelievable what you have accomplished in your first year. Many thanks.
