It's a really nice , quiet place. You can have a long walk, need the the river, and even get to sheerness only by walking. Queenborough is two miles (3km) south ofSheerness. It grew as a port near theThames Estuaryat the westward entrance tothe Swalewhere it joins theRiver Medway.
