If you're looking for an actual castle to visit, then you will be disappointed! Sadly, there is nothing left of the castle itself, which is a real shame as it was certainly a very historical site. However, the main walls are now marked with flower beds and there is a lovely grassy mound which is a nice spot to sit at, with a small play area for the kids next to it. Queenborough train station is next to the castle site and you can also walk through the town to look at some of the other buildings and the harbour, though it is undoubtably more enjoyable when it isn't windy and rainy!
