I set up a wedding cake here in a marquee. What a lovely setting for a wedding!!!! Such a perfect setting. Easy to find and staff were lovely.

A lovely Harvest Thanksgiving organised by the Day Opportunities and residents in the stable yard. Several jolly songs and thought provoking readings, led by Revds Tim and David. Included a scarecrow competition and lots of hay. Followed by vegetable soup from the garden and a lovely blackberry and apple crumble with custard.

The staff (Lois Janos in particular) could not have been more professional or helpful. The food for our event (approximately 50 people at a black tie dinner and drinks reception) was excellent and the venue itself was stunning on a summer's evening.

Lois and the team at Minstead Lodge organised a life celebration event for my parents who had both died in quick succession. This was understandably a very difficult time for us, but Lois was superb right from the start - sensitive, understanding and willing to meet any requirements we had. We were able to tailor the venue to exactly suit our needs and to allow us to provide a beautiful venue for such an important day. The rooms were presented beautifully and the wonderful gardens meant that our guests could wander, talk, sit together and remember or simply enjoy the sunshine and the stunning views. The buffet food was superb and of a very high quality. We were also able to adjust the menu to suit the needs of our guests. The lemon tart was a particular hit! The staff were attentive, non-intrusive and incredibly helpful. The venue is simply stunning and all of our guests were blown away by the elegance and beauty of the place. Many also commented that they wished they had got married there! Myself and my family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team at the Lodge for creating such a special, memorable day at such a difficult time. I really can not recommend this venue highly enough whether it be for a wedding, an event such as ours, a conference or work event or any special family occasion. We also loved to see the very valuable work they are doing for their residents and the people they support - this is a place with a very big heart, which is another reason why it was so perfect for our day. We will most definitely be back.
