Titan Incubators

No after sales support. I was concerned that the Titan Incubator would not reach a temperature which would keep my one day old chicks alive and I phoned them twice saying I needed urgent help (ie chicks were going to die). I was told they would call back but no one bothered.

I have 4 Titan Door openers. Two are old and continue to give good service. Two are new Elites and were bought less than 3 months ago. Immediately upon installing, one of the new units malfunctioned. It drains the battery weekly and then switches off. Then it opened the door in the middle of the night and switched off! The whole flock was put at risk with that action. I contacted Titan to let them know that I was actually very happy with their products but one of the units had a malfunction. I requested to return the unit and have it replaced. Mechanical failures happen, its fine. But their response was to ask me to disassemble the unit and then send them photos to see if there was an at home fix. I did this. They said they could possibly see an issue with one of the internal mechanisms but offered no solution. Ive now spent a month chasing for a resolution for the faulty door opener and it seems that I wont get one. Ultimately Ive had to just buy a new door opener from another brand as I cant continue to have a door out of service for a small commercial flock. Titan door openers are comparably priced to other brands. But considering all the time Ive spent on this issue and buying the replacement door opener, theyve become the most expensive door openers on the market and I wont purchase any of their products in future sadly.

Over time we've bought two units from Titan, the Elite and this year we bought a Cube. The Elite failed after 9 months with a string failure, however the Cube surpassed that and failed in less than three months with a interface error which kept resetting the clock back to 00:00 and therefore opening the door during the middle of the night!! Repeated requests to Titan for support were ignored and there is no way to return the units! Save your money and buy another device. We've gone back to Omlet albeit more expensive their doors have not yet failed. James
