AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING - BIG LIFE SAVER We come from Essex and brought our own DJ equipment for a family party for my dads 60th and forgot one wire! On a Sunday late afternoon we contacted Starturns entertainment and were more than happy to help us and kindly found the wire we desperately needed. Thank you so so so much cant thank you enough! Ive hired Geoff once before for a work party and it was brilliant fun! He was very professional and friendly. We are a rowdy bunch but he accommodated us very well. I will definitely be using Geoff and starturns entertainment again!

Geoff did a phenomenal job at our wedding as well as providing other services, with his amazing "LOVE" lights. His professionalism and experience were evident throughout. He listened to our requests and put together a killer playlist. He cared about the subtle details and showed that he wanted to make our experience unique and matching to our theme/tone. We got SO many compliments on the music and the event overall, and Geoff really set the stage for our wedding. Would DEFINITELY hire again! Thankyou so much. A star ******

Our experience with Starturns has left us extremely disappointed and upset, therefore, we would NOT RECOMMEND this company. We were recommended Geoff Ryder as a DJ and booked him on the premise that he was experienced, knew the wedding venue and never had an empty dancefloor. His communication prior to the wedding was frustratingly slow, however, we looked forward to having his presence on our big day. In all our correspondence leading up to the wedding he led us to believe that we were indeed booking him, Geoff Ryder. Instead of Geoff Ryder, Vincent Scott came to DJ at our wedding. Vincent may well be an experienced DJ, but he clearly did not know the venue and he often had an empty dancefloor due to his unapproachable demeanour. There were several powercuts during the few hours Vincent played, which he was very keen to blame on everyone else - a spilt drink, people dancing too close to his equipment, the venue's electrics etc etc. Due to his accusations and the continued powercuts, his attitude got increasingly more stressed and unpleasant as the time passed. An electrician friend of ours tried to help and explained that the reason for the powercuts was due to the sockets/leads being overloaded (a problem we assume Geoff who knows the venue would not have had), but Vincent continued as he was, and continued sternly telling people not to dance close to his equipment. Fortunately, we had another musician at the party, who despite having finished his set, stepped in during the powercuts to fill thesilence and distract from the stress the DJ was causing. If it had not been for him, the party would've been a shambles! Despite communicating our feelings about the evenings events to Starturns in writing, we still have not been offered an explanation why we didn't get Geoff as our DJ, and have been offered no apology for the negativety Vincent brought to our special day. In fact, the response we did receive from Starturns evoked further negativety and upset by having both DJs tell us we were talking nonsense, and dismissing our disappointment and concerns as 'untrue' and 'utter rubbish'. Not exactly the level of customer service we were hoping for. We wish we'd saved our money and used our Spotify playlist instead.
