Farthing Cottage Minehead

Stayed here for a week recently dishwasher wasn't working so reported it to the owner who said they would get it fixed but didn't. There was no garden only a small enclosed drive with a couple of chairs and small table sun was only there early am so couldn't sit out which forced us to go out more.Woken up 3 nights in a row at about 12.30 am by crazy woman shouting in the street as it was warm we had the small bedroom window open so be warned if you are thinking of staying in the summer. Only one main room downstairs and window at the back of the lounge is at street level so people walking past the window which happened alot could stare in, or if we closed the blind, it made shadow which made our dog bark and also made the lounge very dark. Whilst the cottage was reasonably clean and very central to the centre of Minehead we have stayed in better cheaper places. Nice gesture with milk and pack of biscuits on arrival but we won't be returning.
