Stone Barn

A wonderful stay at Stone Barn. A beautifully laid out garden that allowed us to sit quietly and read the newspaper and enjoy the morning sun. Minehead shopping area is vast and varied. Dunster village is beautiful with a lovely antique shop and lots of gift shops. The Castle is well worth as visit as is Porlock Weir. We had a trip to Bishops Lydeard on the steam train which was my favourite! The weather hasnt been kind to us but we had plenty to keep up us occupied. Stone Barns hot tub is delightful, and we have totally made use of it every day, even if raining! This holiday home is lovely and very well-equipped, catering for every need.

Only a short break but what a lovely break. The Barn is a home-from-home it has that relaxing feel which aids the holiday experience and with the hot tub, the church view relax is the order off the day, everything you need is here. Minehead, The Valley of Rocks, all Exmoor is a beautiful place even with what the weather had to throw at us! A special thanks to Lucy who went above and beyond to get us here. Thanks to all the team clearly takes pride in their jobs.

Our second time in Stone Barn and this certainly will not be our last. Everything was up to the high usual standards leading to another wonderful holiday staying in an Exmoor Character Cottage. The weather has been great just like in Portugal a few weeks ago but the relaxed nature of a Stone Bar holiday didnt have the stresses and strains of airports and distance travel
