Large store which is under staffed. Kiosk for grocery payment has little room for packing with the perspex shields in place resulting in items being dropped/smashed to the floor. Long queues in this area, extra staff called to assist at kiosk then quick to clear. Really needs at least one larger main till to be manned.

Absolutely shocked by this place, I went in for a monster drink and because my 14 year old son was with me they asked HIM for ID.... I told him the drink was for me and he was still asking my son for ID... My son has ADHD and felt like he was put on the spot in front of a queue.... Absolutely shocked by this.... it has never ever happened before until now, I will be putting in a formal complaint about this when I get home....

While I understand being polite to customers in general, it didn't seem appropriate for the man in the kiosk to be instigate having a 5 to 10 minute conversation when he had up to 10 customers waiting in the queue and he also sauntered around behind the kiosk as though he had all day. He could tell I wasn't happy when I eventually got served and was, at best, standoffish. 17:45pm on the 8th August 2022.

This is with reference to the post office in the co-op. I had the misfortune to have to try and use the service twice over the last couple of months. The first time there was a long que with only one woman serving and another who seemed to be making herself look busy without serving. This visit took 20 minutes to post one item. On the second visit I arrived at 1245 to find a sign saying the post office was closing for lunch. It was the same woman who made herself look busy on the first occasion. I waited as there were only two people in the closed off que expecting to be served once the que had cleared. At 1250 the que had cleared and she guested that I should go away and she would not serve me. I will never use this service again; I then went to Alcombe post office who did not close for lunch and I was promptly served with a smile. I would suggest that if you have a choice you use the Alcombe PO.

Get in and out as fast as possible before all the holiday makers fill the town up, it gets really busy during the day and so does the in store post office, fresh good freely available with good quality beer and wine, high concentration of tin goods also available.
