Both my daughter's said yes to the dress. Lovely ladies who I highly recommend. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you ladies. But 5 stars are not enough .

I wish I could get married every year just so I could visit this outstanding bridal shop and try on their selection of gorgeous wedding gowns. Seeing the new stock on their socials makes me want to do it all over again! I truly love the whole ethos of Somerset Bridal as a lot of other bridal shops don't stock plus sizes, or if they do, have a limited selection. They really do cater for all body shapes and sizes, stocking most designs in both plus size and smaller sizes. I also love that each dress has a bespoke name (linking to strong, influential women I believe), making it easier to remember favourites when going through their massive selection. I was in the early stages of pregnancy when I visited (due to have baby 3 months before my wedding!). The ladies were so lovely, patient and helpful when it came to finding my perfect dress, and when we did, they helped guide me on sizings that would allow for any sneaky pregnancy pounds gained. My mum, nan and bridesmaids also loved and made use of the beautiful gin bar, even though I had to have a coke! Thank you so much for all your help and kindness and I would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Beautifully presented and some wonderful dresses but not the only place around that cater for fuller figured women. The atmosphere soon changed when I said sadly I couldn't afford their prices and enquired about a sale rail (my wedding was in three months time due to being pregnant). I understand a business is being run but I felt like I no longer mattered if I wasn't going to part with 2 grand. At the end of the appointment I was placed in a dress that resembled my Nan's curtain and I could have it for a very generous 900, that being my shape, size and pregnant I wouldn't find anything anywhere else in the short time frame given. I didn't feel special, I looked okay, but myself and my Mum didn't even get emotional. I was told women rarely cry when they try on their wedding dresses and that it was more done for effect in films so not to worry that I didn't cry. 900 is a lot of money for a small wedding and a little nipper on the way so I dug my heels in and said I'd think about it. On the way back home me and my Mum popped into another shop in Taunton, Izzy Stockton/Bride & Bloom and came away with the dress that did make me and my Mum cry! Oh and it's only a size 18 which given my size, shape and that I'm pregnant I'm pretty pleased with. Even more pleased that when I went back last week for a fitting it had to be taken in drastically!! If you're curvaceous girls, shop around. You will see the most beautiful dresses here and you can have the best time getting drunk with your friends but don't feel obliged to buy and certainly don't be made to feel that a 2000 dress is your only option because you're fuller figured.
